Initial Consultation (Where the fun begins…): During our initial meeting we want to get to know you, this is where we brainstorm the ideas to create your invitation. We’ll chat about color palettes, themes, illustration, fonts, style etc. We have you flip through books to get a feel for what’s is out there and what you might be interested in. Always feel free to bring in magazine cutouts, ribbons, photos of your venue, stickers, paint swatches, anything that inspires you ----we love visuals!
The Estimate (the nitty-gritty): Once all the elements are in place, we will email you a quote. A deposit of 25% is required at this stage. Once that’s out of the way the fun begins!
Design Concepts (the mockups!): At our studio we will start designing your invitation based upon our meeting and discussions. These will be emailed to you in an electronic proof (PDF) format. We then go back and forth via email, phone calls or meetings to narrow down your exact invitation. The more feedback the better!
Refinement (the proofs): Once you have narrowed down your invitation style, we tighten up the loose ends. We make sure all wording, language, color, font etc. is perfect. We will have you sign off on all files before we go to print. Here you will get a very clear idea of how your invitation will look. You will see everything laid out exactly how it will go to print. Once a design has been signed off on, we cannot make any more changes.
Printing (almost yours...): We work with all our vendors to oversee your design printing to make certain it is just right! Typically printing will take 3-5 weeks in order to dedicate ourselves to the printing of your pieces. We hand assemble all your custom layers, envelopes etc. and affix the finest finishings. t
